Using the picture and the words, 1. Stars 2. Radiant, spill your brain and craft your best poem.
The genesis of all of this remains unknown Time’s story as the stars unfold Passed down through the ages of all
Radiant Giants light the way Thunder scares the dark to stray The dust settles for life to live
And we begin
Dip your heart’s quill into the infinite darkness And spread your ink to the canvas Light the way for those astray In the shadows of your own creation
—Great photo and word choice for the prompt!
Wow Preston – what a vivid poem! Very nice work
You are one smart dude to be able to write like this. This is one brilliant website that I believe will succeed for all of us. We are bringing poetry back to today’s reader. Keep up the excellent work, Preston. I believe.
The stars are radiant In a vortex of color Swirling around Each like no other
Stars each different I name them all Some keep rising While others fall
Vortex creating Each new one Pushed to the sky When they are done
Great poem Samantha! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to host these prompts.
I fell on a land without a name on my forehead you blew your healing breath radiant sparks in the bonfire of the aborigines the sorcerer took a bunch of stars and taught me how to fly writing my name in the cosmic wind of my universe
So great as always!!!
Great imagery! I like how grounded your poem is.

A galaxy full of stars A cosmic iridescent rainbow cloud Envelops all the planets From Neptune to Mars
Amidst the seeming chaos The entire galaxy watches in peace The plumes of color and texture Seem to forever endure and will never cease
And at the source of this galactic swirl Emanates a radiant Sun A beautiful reminder The Universe is eternally One

He traveled through the cosmic winds Through the radiant nebula clouds saw All the shining stars & marveled in the Beauty of them all knowing that they’re The source of the life in each system but As his travel got further he realized that He began to miss his own star the sun & The pale moon the earth itself & tears of Longing ran down his cheeks as he set The course further away from his home
Very cool – nice take about a journey far away from home! I like it!
Awww thank you so much
